Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer





Job Location: Ft. Bragg, NC





Security Clearance: Secret






Job Responsibilities





+ Contractor shall provide classified and non-classified support for enterprise and tactical SIPR, NIPR, and local/wide Area Networks; Call Manager, VTC Networks. The Contractor shall provide technical support for the network architecture design to include server based tactical services


+ Support Information Assurance Network and Services compliance requirements


+ Manage the development and maintenance of the Contingency Network Facilities


+ Reinitialize the SIPR-REL service in support of foreign nationals on Ft. Bragg, NC


+ Operationalize a Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) gateway to support NIPR VoIP services


+ Complete several field services on TACLANE to make them compliant


+ Clear excess static route to make the tunneled network more efficient


+ Resolve technical problem in which Intrusion Protection System (IPS) not able to see the devices on network


+ Improve network services not limited to backbone networks, fiber infrastructure, and security architecture to exploit emerging technologies that benefit the organization


+ Upgrade existing capabilities with a new Call Manager at a remote site for continuous support of service in the event of a major outage


+ Configure, maintain, and support deployable Satellite Communications (SATCOM) assets


+ Configure, maintain, and support Enroute Mission Command systems, Mission Command Systems, and situational awareness tools (Ringtail, Blue Force Tracker, Personal Location Indicator (PLI) Beacons)




+ Duties also include interfacing with WIN-T personnel and providing assistance with WIN-T specific projects:


+ Joint Network Node Increment 1B (JNN INC1B) upgrade/training


+ Tampa Microwave Fielding


+ KEN/DAN testing


+ Suppport of various field exercises utilizing JNNs, POPs, SNEs, CPNs, GATR, GRRIPS, GRITT


+ SAR/GAR submission via ACAS/JIST


+ Troubleshooting support via Ft. Bragg Regional Hub Node (RHN), CP Roberts RHN, Ft. Gordon RHN, DISA STEP sites




+ Perform other duties as requried.







Minimum Qualifications





+ Candidate must be DoD 8570 IAT Level III compliant with a Security+, or equivelent, or higher baseline certification.


+ Candidate must have the CCNP or higher Cisco Computing Environment certification.


+ Intermediate level experience in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), switching protocols (SPT, MST), MPLS, Redundancy Protocols (VSS, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), Quality of Service (QoS), Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN), and IPSec VPN


+ Position requires 8 to 10 years of network experience with CISCO infrastructure devices and preferred knowledge/experience with other types of infrastructure devices


+ Thorough working knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) concepts,network configurations, network devices, Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunneling and VTC Networks


+ Experience with networking protocols and technologies to include TCP/IP, OSPF, QoS, VoIP, VPN, Trunking, Spanning tree, and Layer 3 switching


+ Demonstrated experience with the operation of Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls and strong working familiarity with Cisco IOS commands


+ Experience with any or all of the following network management software: Solarwinds Orion, Cisco works, and Solar Winds Engineering toolset


+ Knowledge of common Enterprise system monitoring and management tools


+ Knowledge of commercial enterprise-level tools and products to provide network services, including: firewalls, encryption devices, IPS/IDS, DNS, DHCP, web security, TACACS+, VPN and Network Access Control


+ Ability to diagnose and correct common (i.e. previously known) hardware and software problems


+ Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills


+ Contractor shall have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in problem analysis, problem identification, course of action determination, devising solutions and risk management determination using best program management practices


+ Have proven expertise in the management and control of complex information systems architectures involving multiple disparate database, network, and communications sub-systems


+ Must be a US Citizen.







Education





+ High school graduate or equivalent.


+ Bachelor's degree desired in a technical field.
