Occasionally the employee will have to reach below to get an item from a file drawer.o Employee will be pushing and pulling on an occasional basis opening file drawers and moving chairs and tables around.o In using the personal computer, getting things from around the desk, being on the phone, and doing other tasks, the employee will be twisting and rotating continuously on a daily basis.o Employee must have good finger dexterity in order to use the phone, computer/typewriter, and write, use tools, send faxes, all on a continuous basis.o The employee will be kneeling occasionally in order to do a task on the floor or to access items from lower drawers and shelves.o The employee must practice office safety procedures and occasionally wear appropriate personal protective equipment.o On an average day, the employee will be standing 10% of the time, walking 30% of the time, and sitting 60% of the time.o The latter is composed of being on the phone, on the computer or in meetings.o Employee must be able to read, see on the computer and be able to drive on a daily basis.o The responsibilities and duties specified in this years experience

  • DescriptionPrimary Role and Responsibilities: Provides excellent customer service to LREMC members by serving as point of contact for visitors entering LREMC facilities. Assists Member Services daily in best serving LREMC members in the office and over the phone. Assists other cooperative personnel within the organization daily in best serving LREMC members.Essential duties:o Greet visitors entering Lumbee River EMC facilities and to operate telephone console in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner, promoting good will, and maintaining positive member relations.o Operates and answers multi-line telephone in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner, collecting accurate information and direct caller to appropriate personnel when required.o Properly greet visitors entering the Lumbee River EMC facilities. Visitors should be given immediate assistance, ensuring proper visitor log sign-in and visitor's pass is issued.o Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the cooperative.o Notify staff of visitors and ensure that visitors are properly escorted to appropriate areas.o Maintain member confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.o Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to policies, procedures and regulations.o Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly fashion.o Responsible for unlocking and locking front doors for business daily, as well as for special events.o Provides information to members regarding programs and services to include setup and demonstration if requested.o Assist Member Services administratively.o Plans and schedules own work to assure that it is completed within the allocated time.o Enter all return mail address changes/notes of returned mail on accounts.o Completes monthly reports assigned by Member Services Management team.o Provide administrative support services to other departments within LREMC.o Assists with the preparation of correspondences and mailing for the organization, such as welcome letters, membership applications, marketing and community involvement information, meeting notices, etc.o Assist Marketing by verifying contact data, calling individuals designated on a call list, and opening and mailing correspondences when requested.o Assists at the Annual Meeting as necessary.o Assist other organizations within the cooperative in support of special projects as needed.o Performs all other duties as necessary.
